Verna is a character born to explore the invisible concept of “evil” — a theme that challenges my artistic boundaries.
ヴェルナは「悪」という目に見えない概念を探求するために生み出したキャラクターです。
She stands where the abyss meets the cosmos, reflecting a mysterious beauty hidden within darkness.
深淵と宇宙が交差する場所に佇み、闇の中に潜む神秘的な美しさを映し出します。
1. The Origin of Verna’s Concept
😈 ヴェルナという概念の誕生
Verna was created to embody the invisible concept of “evil”—a theme vastly different from my other image characters.
ヴェルナは、目に見えない概念である「悪」を具現化するために生み出したキャラクターです。他のイメージキャラクターとはテーマのベクトルが大きく異なります。
She represents my attempt to explore a challenging and unfamiliar emotional landscape.
彼女は、ぼくにとって非常に挑戦的で、未知の感情領域を探る試みでもあります。
2. Inspiration from Shishio Makoto
🔥 志々雄誠から受けた衝撃
The initial spark for Verna came from Shishio Makoto, the infamous villain from Rurouni Kenshin.
ヴェルナを生み出すきっかけになったのは、漫画『るろうに剣心』に登場する悪の象徴・志々雄誠でした。
Wrapped in bandages with an eerie appearance, he remains remarkably popular.
全身包帯に包まれた異様な見た目でありながら、彼は非常に人気があります。
What fascinated me was his unwavering aesthetic—the pure belief in “survival of the fittest.”
ぼくが惹かれたのは「弱肉強食」を一途に貫く、その揺るぎない美学です。
Through him, I learned that aesthetics can grant immense charisma, even to evil.
彼から、「美学」が悪にさえ魅力を付与するという事実を学びました。
3. Building Verna’s Unique Aesthetic

Inspired by that lesson, I set out to create a character who embodies evil yet remains irresistibly alluring.
その学びを基に、「悪でありながら魅力を宿す存在」を創りたいと思い立ちました。
Verna represents my personal exploration of what “aesthetic evil” can be.
ヴェルナは、ぼく自身が考える“美学としての悪”を探求するキャラクターです。
Her presence acts as a mirror—reflecting the darker, unspoken elements that coexist within creativity.
彼女の存在は、創造の中に潜む暗い部分、言語化されない感情を映す鏡のような役割を果たしています。
4. The Fusion of Abyss and Cosmos
🌀 深淵と宇宙の融合というテーマ
When expressing Verna, I visualize a fusion between the abyss and the cosmos.
ヴェルナを表現するとき、ぼくは“深淵と宇宙の融合”を意識しています。
She stands at the border of darkness and starlight—an embodiment of the unknown.
彼女は闇と星光の境界に立つ、“未知”そのものです。
This cosmic darkness symbolizes the beauty that can exist even in the deepest shadows.
その宇宙的な闇は、深い影の中にも美しさが宿ることを象徴しています。
5. Allure Different from Mary
🦋 マリーとは異なる妖艶さ
While Mary expresses bewitching elegance, Verna’s allure comes from a different direction—mysterious, dangerous, and quietly seductive.
マリーが「妖艶の美」を表現しているのに対し、ヴェルナはまったく異なるベクトルの妖艶さ――神秘的で、危険で、静かに誘惑する魅力を持っています。
Her charm lies in what she hides, not in what she reveals.
彼女の魅力は、見せるものではなく、隠されたものにあります。
This contrast helps expand the expressive range of the entire Astro Creator universe.
この対比が、Astro Creator全体の表現幅を広げてくれています。
6. Expanding My Creative Horizon
💫 創作の幅を無限に広げていく存在
By expressing Verna, I explore themes I have never touched before.
ヴェルナを表現することで、これまで触れてこなかった領域に踏み込みます。
She challenges me to embrace complexity—beauty within darkness, elegance within chaos, emotion within evil.
彼女は、「闇の中の美」「混沌の中の優雅」「悪の中の感情」といった複雑な概念をぼくに突き付けてきます。
Through Verna, I aim to expand my expressive universe without limitations.
ヴェルナを通じて、ぼくは表現の宇宙を無限に広げていきたいと考えています。
