Aoba is an original character I created to visualize an invisible and emotional concept — music.
蒼薔（Aoba）は、目に見えない概念である「音楽」を視覚化するために生み出した、ぼくのオリジナルキャラクターです。
She became the motif for artwork featured in Paris art history publications and for pieces selected for the Japan Art Honor Award.
パリの芸術史に掲載された作品や、日本藝術名誉大賞に向けた作品のモチーフにもなりました。
Among the eight image characters in the Astro Creator universe, Aoba is the one most people naturally feel drawn to.
現在の8人のイメージキャラの中でも、特に多くの方から愛されていると感じています。
As a creator, this reception means more than words can express.

Origin and Design Philosophy
キャラクター誕生の経緯とデザイン思想
Aoba was the second character established in my universe.
蒼薔は、ぼくの世界観で誕生した 2人目 のキャラクターです。
She was built on the foundation of my very first character, Sistine, but redesigned to fully specialize in music.
最初に作り上げたシスティを基盤としつつ、音楽に特化したキャラとして再構築しました。
Her eyes share the same design directives as Sistine, preserving a sense of unity across the Astro Creator world.
目元の表現はシスティと同じ作画指示を与え、世界観の統一感を保っています。
Her most iconic item is the pair of glowing, futuristic headphones — a visual anchor for the entire concept of music.
そして蒼薔を象徴するのが 光り輝く未来的なヘッドホン。このアイテムが「音楽」という概念を視覚的に形づくります。
In her early design, I adopted the bob cut and natural M-bang hairstyle I once loved for Sistine — and intentionally preserved it for Aoba ever since.
初期のシスティで採用していたボブヘアーとナチュラルMバングを踏襲し、蒼薔ではずっと変えずに維持させています。

She is a bridge between AI art and space exploration, a key part of my mission to someday see my artwork orbit beyond Earth.
